Consent to Receive Calls & SMS Text Messages (updated 11/25/2024)
You agree that Scratch Financial, Inc. (“Scratch”) and/or WebBank (collectively, “we”, “”us,” and “our”) may provide you communications about your account electronically or through calls or in writing to any contact information we have on file for you. Standard mobile, message or data rates may apply and you are responsible for any such fees. Scratch reserves the right to close or limit access to your account or any services offered on Scratch’s platform if you withdraw your consent to receive electronic or other communications or if you revoke access to any third party site on which Scratch relies or if any such service should revoke or cancel your account on that site. Any electronic communications will be considered received by you at any time we email it to you or otherwise send it to your attention (such as via sms or other online or mobile notification). We may assume you have received any communications sent to you by postal mail three (3) business days after we send it.
If we need to contact you to service your account or to collect amount you owe, you give direct consent to us - as well as our servicers, agents, contractors and collectors of your account - to communicate with you in any way, such as calling, texting, or email via:
- a mobile phone or landline you provide to Scratch, use to contact Scratch, or at which we believe we can reach you;
- any email address you provide to Scratch, WebBank, servicer providers, or one of our clinics or practices;
- automated dialer systems and automatic telephone dialing systems;
- pre-recorded or artificial voice messages and other forms of communications.
You also agree that these communications are not unsolicited for purposes of any state or federal law, and you understand that this may result in additional mobile, text message, or data charges.
Where you have provided a mobile phone number directly to us, you consent and agree to accept servicing calls and text messages to your mobile phone from us. For example, we may place calls to you about fraud alerts. For any telephone or mobile phone calls or communications, we place to you, you consent and agree that those calls maybe automatically dialed including pre-recorded messages or texts.
Without limiting the foregoing, you consent to us, as well as any successor, assignee, or service provider, contacting you through any channel of communication and for any purpose, as permitted by applicable law. For informational, servicing, or collection related communications, you agree that we may use the phone numbers that you provided to use to contact your cellular phone or wireless device with text messages, artificial or prerecorded voice calls, and calls made by automatic telephone dialing system. This consent applies even if you are charged for the call under your plan. You are responsible for any charges that may be billed to you by your communication carrier when we contact you.
You also agree that these communications are not unsolicited for purposes of any state or federal law, and you understand that this may result in additional mobile, text message, or data charges. Notwithstanding this provision, our delivery of any Disclosures are governed by Scratch’s Electronic Communications Agreement (Borrowers).
How to Opt-Out: To opt-out from text messages, text STOP to 97364. Please note that once you opt out of SMS, you will no longer receive text messages about your account (including payment reminders or other important alerts). You may also opt out by email at [email protected] with the subject line "STOP SMS Messages" or by calling a customer service representative at 855-727-2395.
Supported Carriers: Supported carriers may change from time to time. Not all carriers may support our SMS program.
